Dear Customer,
Oshawa Power regularly engages with you, our customers, to help us better understand your needs. Our team at Oshawa Power is currently working on preparing our 2026-2030 Cost-of-Service Rate Application for the Ontario Energy Board (OEB). The OEB regulates how much Oshawa Power can charge customers for the distribution and delivery of electricity. As part of our planning process, we would like your thoughts on our investment priorities for the coming years.
We understand that electricity is essential to the health and well being of your families, homes and businesses. So, to keep supporting you, we need to look to the future. We need to think about where we want to be and what you will need from us as your electricity utility. This thinking led to a new strategy that will enable Oshawa Power to be future ready, resilient, digitally modernized and customer-centric.
We would also like to hear your feedback on our future plans including electricity solutions that go beyond the traditional poles and wires that we are known for, supporting the transition to electric vehicles, and a new home for our staff and operations.
We know the bottom line that you see on your electricity bill is important to you, so we are taking special care to explain to you how our plan impacts this monthly cost, as well as, providing you some ideas on how to manage it and possibly lower it.
Thank you for participating in our survey.
