Contest Period

The Free Electricity for a Year Contest is open from December 2, 2024 to 11:59 p.m. December 31, 2024.

Eligibility

This contest is only open to all Oshawa Power customers who are in Canada and enroll online in Oshawa Power’s Pre-Authorized Payments (PAP) program between 12:00 a.m. on December 2, 2024 and 11:59 p.m. on December 31, 2024. Contestants must be age 18 or over. Oshawa Power employees, as well as their immediate family members (living in the same household as the employees) are not eligible to participate. The contest is subject to all applicable Federal, Provincial and Municipal laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.

How to Enter

Customers may enter the Contest online by completing the form available at www.oshawapower.ca/pap-form between 12:00 a.m. on December 2, 2024 and 11:59 p.m. on December 31, 2024.

Contestants will be automatically entered into the contest upon completing the registration. When information supplied to Oshawa Power by the customer for purposes of the Contest is inaccurate, the entry will be considered void. Limit to one (1) entry per account. No purchase is required to enter.

Disclaimer: Oshawa Power shall not be responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription or registration of Contest entry information, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, faulty, incomplete, incomprehensible, or erased computer or network transmissions, failure of computer equipment, software, inability to access any online service or web site, inability to submit the online entry, or any other error or malfunction, or any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Contest, or for late, lost, stolen, postage due, illegible or misdirected entries.

Prize Description

Two eligible contestants will win Free Electricity for a Year (valued at $1,500) to be awarded on January 6, 2024. The prize will be provided via a $1,500 bill credit to their respective Oshawa Power accounts.

Free Electricity for a Year prize is not transferable or convertible to cash and must be accepted as awarded.

Condition of Participation

Submission of an entry constitutes acceptance of these contest rules by entrant. Oshawa Power does not accept responsibility for any loss, damage or claims caused by or resulting from this contest or the prizes. The prize winner(s) agrees by accepting the prize to release Oshawa Power from any and all liability arising out of, pursuant to, or as a result of the carrying out of the contest, including liability arising from the acceptance of the prize(s) as awarded and confirming compliance with contest rules. By entering the contest, entrants’ consent to the use of their names, city of residence, photograph, voice and/or image for publicity purposes and in all mediums utilized by Oshawa Power without payment or compensation.

Chances of Winning

Dependent on the total number of eligible entries received on or before the contest end-date.

Ownership of the Contest

The contest is managed by Oshawa Power.
