Survey deadline is fast approaching

In October of this year Oshawa Power began a customer engagement campaign to gather feedback on their 5 year investment plan. The campaign included 4 public town hall events, 1 telephone town hall and an online cost of of service survey. When customers choose to do the survey they are given the choice at the end to either enter in a draw for 1 of 5 $200.00 gift cards or  they can choose to have Oshawa Power donate $5.00 to 1 of 3 local charities; Simcoe Hall Settlement House, YWCA Durham, and Durham Outlook for the Needy – St Vincent Palotti’s Kitchen.

Oshawa Power’s Cost of Service Survey will soon be closing. The survey deadline has been extended until December 8th, 2019. Oshawa Power will then be calculating the number of donation requests per charity have been submitted and issuing a cheque to each charity just in time for the Holiday Season.

“We are very excited about this initiative and the uptake has been very positive. Our customers have the chance to provide their input on our 5 year investment plan and they can choose to support a charity that supports our local community. It’s a win-win for Oshawa and their residents.” says Ivano Labricciosa, President and CEO, Oshawa Power.
