Oshawa Power’s Compassion Fund has been established to assist Residential Electricity customers who are unable to pay their bill. If you have not used any of the existing financial assistance programs offered, please apply to the Oshawa Power Compassion fund.
The Compassion Fund provides a one time, on-bill credit to eligible Residential Customers. It is for emergency situations.
In order to apply, you must be the account holder for the electricity bill and live at the service address for the account.
Please note funding is limited. Oshawa Power will process applications in the order in which they are received. Submitting an application to Oshawa Power does not guarantee funding.
The assistance is available on past due account balances only. You cannot receive more money than you owe on your bill. Funding amount will be a maximum of $150 per household and will not exceed the arrears amount.
Only provide your name, address, account number, phone number and email address. Please do not provide any more information than is being requested in the form below including personal identifying information. Applications disclosing personal information will not be accepted. Once the application process has been completed, your application will be discarded. Applicants can expect to receive a response from Oshawa Power within three business days.
